Callaway County is home to four excellent public school districts; Fulton Public Schools, New Bloomfield R-III Schools, North Callaway R-I Schools, and South Callaway R-II Schools. You will also find two parochial schools: Kingdom Christian Academy and St. Peter’s Catholic School.
Fulton is also home to Missouri School for the Deaf, the oldest state supported school of its kind west of the Mississippi River. Education is a priority in our community and residents can be assured their children have state-of-the-art facilities and a learning environment that will allow them every opportunity to succeed.
Fulton is host to two nationally recognized institutions of higher learning, William Woods University and Westminster College. Not only do they provide excellent learning opportunities, they also bring a great deal of culture to the area with the Mildred M. Cox Gallery on the William Woods University Campus and the National Churchill Museum on the Westminster College campus.
