Sun & Moon Clay Mask (2-part class) with Louisa & Teresa
In this two-part class, students will make a sun & moon Mayan clay mask. In the first session, students will create their mask out of clay. Clay will then dry for 4 weeks. IN the second session, students will polish, varnish and paint their masks. The teachers who are visiting from Mexico, will also discuss the Mayan philosophy of the significance of the connection between earth and sky that the masks represent.
