On Saturday, January 24th, 2015 the National Churchill Museum will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of Winston Spencer Churchill. A memorial service will be held here in Fulton at 10:30 am in the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury. The service will include much of the original 1965 funeral service at St. Paul's Cathedral in London In recognition of the significance of this occasion, the British Ambassador to the United States, Sir Peter Westmacott, will attend to represent Her Majesty the Queen. Churchill's great grandson, Duncan Sandys, will also attend the service. A reception follows along with the opening of the new photography exhibit, Churchill Through the Lens.
