Event Description:
Team RSVP, 55 & Go Volunteer Program of SERVE, Inc provides active volunteers to nonprofits and government agencies to help build a better quality of life in Callaway County. We provide support to 20 stations and outreach to over 40,000 individuals and families with hunger issues, educational goals, community building and health concerns. Our TEAM makes a difference in the lives of Callaway citizens every day!
Planning is underway for the 55 & GO Senior Expo. On the agenda are seminars, local leader's booth where citizens can directly connect & be heard, and a variety of businesses/agencies offering information on everything from health issues to vacations. In addition, wheelchairs, parking assistance and available on site lunch helps make the event obtainable for all Last year's EXPO had over 500 attendess and received rave reviews from vendors & attendees alike. Expectations are to increase vendor participation and double our attendance and exposure in 2014!
This year, sponsorship opportunities as well as booth registrations are available for the 55&GO SENIOR EXPO to be held Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the Callaway Christian Church in Fulton on 2051 Silver Drive.
This EXPO will draw caregivers, their families and seniors from Callaway County and surrounding cities of Columbia, Mexico and Jefferson City. It will also provide exhibitors and sponsors with an exclusive opportunity to showcase products and services to a target market. Callaway County has shown tremendous support in bringing awareness to senior issues and concerns and we want to continue this tradition
